PROGRAM FEATURES

  • Art & Play = Essential: We intentionally integrate art and play to create a fun-filled experience that supports social-emotional learning, brain development, and overall well being.

  • Movement Matters: Each session will incorporate free play, creative movement, and/or games. We will also have the occasional dance party!

  • Mixed-Age Groups: We foster a sense of community and support mentorship, allowing younger children to learn from older friends who enjoy taking on leadership roles and vice versa.

  • Child & Teacher-Led: Our program is a blend of self-directed learning opportunities, teacher-led instruction time, and multigenerational skill sharing.

  • Consistent & Flexible Format: We offer a routine that allows children to engage in a variety of ways. Each session includes a warm-up creative activity, outdoor play (weather permitting), guided art instruction, and child-led making time.

  • Opportunities for Connection: Everyone is encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, and share their ideas. Through creative play, we’ll explore our sense of self in relation to others and the world around us.

  • Active Stewardship: We value eco-friendly practices that reduce waste and promote reuse. We’ll do our best to minimize backpack clutter while also inviting children to bring home special projects.
