Step into a world of imagination where nature becomes both inspiration and art material. First, we will wander through the beautiful Prospect grounds, gathering treasures tucked along the paths and among the trees—from sticks, stones, and pinecones to seed pods, moss, and more. Then, we'll settle in to use our collected finds, along with a variety of art materials, to design and build a fairy house, magical creature habitat, or miniature forest world inspired by the Berkshire woodlands. Throughout our time together, we'll share ideas and discover how creativity can transform natural materials into enchanted works of art.

Explore the beauty of the forest as we take a nature stroll through the Prospect grounds. Then, using collected sticks along with colorful yarns, wooden beads, and other art materials, you'll create a one-of-a-kind hanging mobile inspired by the landscape that surrounds you. Along the way, you'll play with balance, movement, texture, and color as your mobile takes shape. Time permitting, you’ll also have the opportunity to add some of your own small drawings to your creation!
